COVID-19: Expanded Refund Policy and Precautions OSG is Taking

Safety is not just something we train, it’s a value we live by. We are taking precautions to help keep you and our staff safe during the ongoing situation with COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus).

Please note this situation is rapidly evolving and our response may change as new information becomes available from reputable sources including the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Expanded Refund Policy

We are expanding our refund policy to ensure participants are not concerned about losing their training investment when deciding if it is safe for them to attend group training. Clients who have booked facilitator-led training scheduled to start between March 11 to April 11 may:

  • transfer their booking to a later date or
  • cancel and receive a full refund at any time before or during training

We will not require a reason for cancelling. (Our standard refund policy requires five days’ notice to cancel or transfer a scheduled course. OSG has regularly made exceptions for extenuating circumstances.)

We are modifying our policy for the next 30 days, until April 11, 2020. We will reassess the situation at that time and update this webpage accordingly. 

Increased Sanitization & Encouraging Hygiene Best Practices

We are following recommendations of health officials by:

  • Increasing how often commonly touched surfaces are sanitized, this includes tables, doorknobs, etc.
  • Making hand sanitizer abundantly available
  • Promoting hygiene best practices among participants via verbal instruction and signage

How do I cancel or reschedule the training I’ve booked?

Please call 1.800.815.990 or email info@osg.ca and reference the participant’s name or your order confirmation number. 

Will I get a refund if I have to cancel because I am sick?

You will be given the choice of rebooking at a later date or receiving a full refund. 

Our standard refund policy requires five days’ notice to cancel or transfer a scheduled course. We are temporarily removing the five-day notice period due to the coronavirus until further notice. 

Will OSG postpone courses?

Our hope is that our services will continue as scheduled, unless a different direction is set by the Public Health Agency of Canada.

We value the health of our workers and yours. Therefore, if any members of our team are experiencing concerning symptoms we may, in fact, need to reschedule courses.

Under these circumstances, you will have the opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.
