Course Summary

Lift Trucks and mobile equipment accidents are preventable and unacceptable. Their widespread use requires that individuals working on, and around, lift trucks recognize hazards associated with the equipment, and the environment in which lift trucks are operated.

Our program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge required to identify hazards, properly inspect, and safely operate the equipment.

In order to receive a certificate of competency, the participant must achieve a passing grade on the written in-class test, and he / she must pass the practical skills evaluation. The practical skills evaluation is to be performed at the worker's place of employment.

  • Participant has a minimum of 1 day practical experience on each piece of equipment on which he/she will be operating
  • Equipment is in good working order & annual certification is up-to-date
