The Role
We are looking to fill a Safety Manager role within our London, Ontario office.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of scaling and mentoring sales teams as well as a passion for exceptional customer service.
Duties
Developing annual strategic sales plans in order to meet revenue, margin, profitability, and market penetration goals
Developing and managing sales forecasts and revenue plans
Leading, guiding, and coaching direct reports to set and achieve business targets
Improving selling, negotiation, and objection handling skills of the team
Implementing effective account strategies and tactics while building sustainable customer relationships
Partnering with Marketing to implement various sales initiatives and campaigns
Being an active participant of the OSG Leadership Team; contributing in setting strategic direction, shaping of the culture and helping drive major initiatives
Maintaining a high degree of customer contact/interaction in an attempt to enhance the customer experience; building customer understanding of our corporate vision and goals while supporting the sales team in strengthening relationships
Creating a thorough onboarding process for new hires within the Sales team, as well as an ongoing development program for current team members
Requirements
10+ years of experience in the business development capacity. Preference is given to those with a successful outbound sales background
5+ years of successful experience managing effective sales teams. Preference is given to those with previous Software experience
Previous Salesforce experience a must
Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma (Business, Finance, Marketing, etc.) preferred
Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw insights and present in an engaging manner is required
Experience with managing and coordinating all aspects of the sales process
Strong communicator with a passion for mentoring
