Course Summary
Currently, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and poor ergonomic positioning represent approximately half of the lost-time claims in Ontario. Training individuals to recognize and assess ergonomic hazards will result in a greater opportunity to prevent injuries and costs related to ergonomics. This program will provide participants with an advanced awareness on Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), and assist them in recognizing and reducing ergonomic hazards. Participants will also gain a basic understanding of how to conduct a Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), which can aid in reducing lost-time injuries at work.
