A distance learning course is led by a facilitator and executed online. All enrolled participants experience training via the same virtual classroom during the same time.

Part I Online and Part II Distance LearningCourse Details
Become JHSC certified in as little as 4 days, from anywhere. Includes:
- Part I: a self-paced online course with 13 hours of content
- Part II: a two-day course led by a facilitator in the virtual classroom
You'll get access to health & safety experts, tools to improve safety at your workplace, and a digital certificate.
Technology Requirements
You'll need to be on the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Internet Explorer 11, or Opera. You can enter the course via your browser on a desktop, tablet, or phone. You will need to have built-in or external speakers to hear the facilitator.
